Paper Circuits Lesson
This lesson was designed as part of a summer school program at a charter school in Erie, Colorado. It was one of four lessons created to introduce 3rd and 4th grade students to the science of electricity and circuits. The activity and accompanying worksheets was adapted from a STEM challenge by Vivify STEM. I chose to include this lesson because I believe it highlights my passion for developing learning experiences that ignite creativity and curiosity. I believe that the best kind of science lessons are the ones that encourage inquiry through hands-on exploration. This paper circuits lesson promotes these values, by allowing students to learn through creating and tinkering.
